Are you looking for a unique gathering space to host your community group, leadership meeting, training workshops, musical event, program or service?
Our gathering spaces offer a tranquil setting, amazing acoustics, and spectacular views, surrounded by nature on Westwood Lake at the foothills of Mt Benson.
With five main meeting venues and a number of outdoor spaces for use, Bethlehem offers spaces to meet the needs of groups large and small. Ranging from intimate groups of three to one hundred people for single-day workshops or multi-day programs and retreats.
Each gathering space offers different features to allow you to customize your group’s experience. Seeing is believing.
The Chapel
This has wonderful acoustics, is used for concerts, services, and other gatherings.
Shepherd Hall
A stand-alone building that is wheelchair accessible. Can accommodate 30-50 people.
View Room
Accommodates 35-45 people. Wheelchair accessible.
Oak Room
Tucked away in a private spot, it can accommodate up to 30 people.
Tabor Room
A cozy intimate space with aromatic cedar walls. Accommodates 16 people.
Naz Lounge
With a capacity of 16, the lounge includes a kitchen, a large sunny deck and a gas fireplace.
Kairos Room
A small, intimate room ideal as a breakout room. Capacity 3-5 people
Accommodations
Bethlehem has four different Guest Houses for a total of thirty-seven rooms located in the gorgeous, forest setting. Each guest house offers simple yet comfortable “cabin by the lake” feel rooms for guests.
All of our rooms are private and have shared bathrooms. We make every effort to meet the needs of our guests, all bedrooms include linens, bath towels, a desk and chair, and a place to hang clothes.
If you are planning to swim in the lake, be sure to pack your beach towel. Learn more about preparing for your stay
Check-in time is between 3:00 PM-4:00 PM.
Check-out time is 10:00 AM

Main House
The Main House has a Lakeview Suite and 2 Lakeview Rooms. The Suite has two bedrooms, perfect for families.
Augusta Guest House
Perfect for small groups that wants to enjoy their own getaway space.
Nazareth Guest House
Great for larger groups that want to feel like they are at their home away from home.
Capernaum Guest House
Capernaum is cozy and conveniently located just steps from Shepherd Hall.
Nourishing Meals

Nourishing the body and soul by sharing a meal is an essential part of any gathering at Bethlehem, with food thoughtfully prepared by our Chef de Cuisine. Nourishing meals in an all-you-can-share home-style buffet environment. All meals include coffee and tea.
Garden to Table
We take pride in being able to grow seasonally fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables on-site in the volunteer run garden using organic practices and a low carbon footprint. The produce is transformed by the Centre’s talented chef’s and food services team into nutrient-rich meals for guests.
Specific Dietary Needs
It is important to remember that we are a charitable organization, while we do our best to meet the following dietary needs Gluten-Free ~ Dairy-Free ~ Vegetarian diets, we are unable to customize based on specific preferences.
To help, all dietary needs must be entered into the online registration portal at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Be sure to identify any severe medical allergies.
Also, if you have any other specific dietary restrictions, we advise you to bring special food to support your experience. Please be sure to let us know if you require refrigeration.
