Annie RousseauJoin Annie Rousseau for a weekend painting retreat at our beautiful Bethlehem Center in Nanaimo, British Columbia. 

In this workshop, everyone is welcome, even if you have never picked up a paintbrush. The goal is free expression, with the emphasis on the creative process rather than technique.

Process painting sets forces in motion that facilitates personal transformation – catalyzing and accelerating each person’s unique path of growth and individuation.

The practice of painting for process – which is an intuitive action with a goal. – facilitates greater alignment with authentic presence, grace and radical trust in the world.

Our focus this weekend will be on the creative process, with an emphasis on the journey rather than on the finished work of art. In a studio environment free of judgement and critique, we’ll invite you to paint without a plan and trust your spontaneous nature. The results are unexpected and intriguing — very often a wild vein of passion is awakened within you that will not go back to sleep long after the workshop has ended.

Tuition: $615 USD for US residents l  $465 USD for Canadian residents. Your tuition includes all art materials, daily facilitated painting sessions, group discussion circles in a supportive community, video presentations about creativity and the practice of art as process. Tuition above does not include accommodations and meals.

Opening Session: 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Friday – Sunday:
Morning Sessions: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Afternoon Sessions: 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Evening Sessions: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Monday:
Closing Session: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
