Mindfullness, Nature, Poetry, Writing

To be human is to be a center of creative activity.  Our time together will focus on our connection with nature and how poetics (feelings and words) come from our mindfulness and appreciation: how our hearts and souls co-create in relationship with everything.

By reading, listening, and writing we will, together, evolve the term “poetic ecology” into existence. Our time together will be facilitated by Leanne McIntosh and Roger Kimmerly.

Leanne is a Nanaimo poet with an interest in the natural world, cosmology, the wholeness of all things and the creative interplay that reveals a fresh reality. Her latest book of poetry with Jack Sproule is Dark Matter published by Leaf Press, Lantzville, 2013.

Roger is a retired Judge and Minister of Justice (Yukon) who is following a life journey into creative energy; the connection between world peace and individual peace; and communion with nature.

We will gather every Tuesday, 2-4 pm, beginning January 19 through February 23, 2016.  See you there!
