Quieting the Mind
Learn how to sustain a calm, sensitive, present-centred state of mind. Marcia will teach awareness about habitual tendencies and unconscious ideas that can hamper our well-being. The Hakomi Method includes gentle ‘experiments’ in mindfulness to create and experience new alternatives to old patterns. The ultimate goal is to move towards becoming a loving presence and carrying this through life into professional work with clients and our personal lives.

Marcia Burton is a Senior Hakomi Trainer and has been a student of the Hakomi method since 1997. She is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and offers training and workshops in Hakomi and in Mindful Self-Compassion.
