With Pandit Tejomaya

Sun Dec 4th, 2016
10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Silence is the language of god, all else is poor translation. – RumiThe spiritual practice of silence is needed today more than ever. Our modern lives are filled with constant soul-distractions from the low-tech realities of parenting and/or careers to the high-tech unreality of the cyber world. Thankfully, silence is still there for us waiting patiently in the core of our being, ready to heal, ready to remind us that our true nature is Spirit.

The Bethlehem Centre is pleased to offer monthly programs of day-long silence guided by Pandit Tejomaya of Gabriola Island.

As a former Catholic monk and current Hindu priest at Yoga Sadhana Mandir, Pandit Tejomaya is diversely trained in the practices of silence. The programs are offered, without borders, to all spiritual practitioners and all faiths.

Each day will be unique, but will include periods for meditation, periods for prayer, gentle guided practices of movement and breath, spiritual readings, and simple teachings taken from world religions on the art of Silence.

Lunch, taken in silence, is included.
