Volunteer Coordinator
Help others find meaningful ways to serve.
Support volunteers through every stage of their journey—from first contact to continued involvement. Create a warm, connected, and well-coordinated experience for all who give their time.
Centre Shop Reception Volunteer
Be the first friendly face guests see.
Welcome visitors, assist with gift shop sales, answer phones, and support our guest services team in keeping the reception area inviting and organized.
Spiritual Lending Library Volunteer
Create calm and order in a cozy retreat space.
Support our library by shelving, organizing, and entering new titles into the database so guests can easily access resources for learning and reflection.
Grounds and Maintenance Volunteer
Tend the beauty and function of sacred spaces.
Help steward the land with maintenance indoors and out, while helping keep our Chartres-style labyrinth and surrounding grounds clean, serene, and welcoming.
Housekeeping & Set-up Volunteer

Flexible Scheduling

Consider which volunteer areas interest you.
We do our best to match you with a volunteer placement that aligns with your skills, interests, and our current needs. If you’re not sure yet, no worries!
Fill out the Volunteer Information Form.
Complete the form electronically or by hard copy. Be sure it’s submitted before your interview so we can get to know you better.
Attend an Interview
The Volunteer Coordinator (or their designee) will chat with you to explore how your skills and interests align with the Centre’s needs.
Submit a Criminal Record Check and provide two references
For the safety of our community, please provide a current criminal background check and two references. Bethlehem Centre covers the cost of the background check.
